This stunning necklace features a beautiful white freshwater cultured pearl that has been half drilled and attached to a stunning cubic zirconia 925 Sterling Silver bail. To ensure the pearl is the star of the piece, I have matched it with an 18″ 925 Sterling Silver medium curb chain.
The pearl measures approx. 9 x 8 mm.

A LITTLE ABOUT PEARLS
Cultured pearls are genuine gems created by living organisms under controlled conditions. Pearls are formed when an irritant, like a grain of sand, gets lodged between the oyster’s mantle and shell, causing the oyster to secrete layers of nacre (mother-of-pearl) to cover the irritant. Over time, the layers of nacre build up, forming a pearl.
Freshwater cultured pearls are believed to help clear the mind, promote sound sleep and relieve mental tension.
